This weekend brought back so many old memories. Nostalgia can be such a weird feeling. My plans didn’t go as scheduled, but I think it was for the better. I hung out with my old friend Scott and went to the state park and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was great reconnecting with my old friend. I miss that kid.
And after an unpromised night, I found some plans. I met up with my friend Mark and as always he had a crowd of woman meet us. I met this girl, damn she was cute, hopefully I can get to know her ;] I had a few drinks and conversed with her, which got rid of my nervousness haha! After a long night of friendship and social living, I played zombies and fell asleep on Roni’s big black couch with my jacket and a big gorrilla stuffed animal. Haha, wonderful blanket.
To finish the day, Mother’s Day, I took my beautiful mother and sister to Cracker barrel to enjoy a large family meal. It was lovely, even if we had to wait forever to get in. Such a vintage, rustic feeling.
Afterwards I hung out with Ethan and drove around for hours.
Good weekend.
Jam session with my buddy. Long, but filled with laughter, beer, and thoughts.
*I gave the bass a try today! I liked it a whole lot.
There are things you just never expect you’d lose, and then you do. Loss after loss. You shine and you die. You give and you live. Tonight and tomorrow are but a breathe.
Hello, I'm Michael. In the event of my demise, here are my feelings from deep inside.
